The report highlights the importance of the existing trade blocs such as the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) when thinking about and engaging with the AfCFTA. The report will assist trade unions in Namibia to formulate frameworks to monitor the development and impact of the AfCFTA and develop a popular campaign to raise awareness of the agreement.
